Recipe:

  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 6 Tablespoons good olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons salt
  • Whisk the dressing ingredients together.
  • Thinly slice
  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 1 grated carrot
  • Toss and let sit covered and refrigerated for at least 5 hours or overnight.
